Chair: Emily Ficker
Emily Ficker is a 17-year old activist and student living in Raleigh, NC. From a young age, Emily has experimented with democracy, fueled by a desire to create great change. She is currently working on Lorrin Freeman's re-election campaign for District Attorney as an Assistant Campaign Manager. Emily is an alumni of the Citizen University Youth Collaboratory, where she learned to enable herself and others through the power of civic engagement. Most recently, Emily was a speaker at the Women's Rally on Raleigh with WCATD's Vice-Chair, Anna Conger. Emily will be attending Wake Forest University next year to study History.

Vice-Chair: Anna Conger
Anna Conger is a senior at Millbrook High School, where she is a part of the International Baccalaureate Program. Anna is passionate about politics and is dedicated to the promotion of civic engagement among her peers and community. This year she has had the wonderful opportunity to speak at the Women's Rally on Raleigh with WCATD's Chair, Emily Ficker. Anna is currently dedicated in leading and planning movements within her school promoting common sense gun laws. When she's not working with WCATD, Anna can be found on the stage or in the dance studio. Anna will be attending the College of William and Mary in the Fall where she intends to study Political Science and International Policy.

Secretary: Lily Al-Omari
Lily Al-Omari is a senior in Millbrook High School's International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Her involvement in school clubs, community service organizations, honors societies, and a history of academic excellence have led to her continued interest to become an activist. Lily attended a camp at the American Civil Liberty Union this past summer at Georgetown University, where she participated in an advanced learning experience to build skills as an issue-focused campaigner. From her strong academic abilities and participation as a leader in her community, Lily has become the Secretary of Wake County Teen Democrats.
